What They Are Reading in the States: Bidenomics Ushers in Record Low State Unemployment Rates
Today's state unemployment report shows that Bidenomics is delivering record-low unemployment rates across the country, with three states reaching new record lows. Under the President's leadership, our economy has added nearly 14 million jobs, the unemployment rate has been below 4% for the longest stretch in more than 50 years, and the share of working-age Americans in the workforce hasn't been higher in 20 years.

The Darien Times (Connecticut statewide): CT jobless numbers drop to 20-year low as the unemployment rate holds at 3.5 percent

The state's unemployment rate stayed at 3.1 percent in September, and the labor participation rate remained at 68.5 percent. Both numbers beat the national averages of a 3.8 percent unemployment rate, and a labor participation rate of just under 63 percent.

Education and Health Services grew by 6,000 jobs; Leisure and Hospitality gained 2,400 jobs; Trade, Transportation, and Utilities gained 1,900 jobs; and Government gained 1,800 jobs.

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry announced Friday that the state's unemployment rate dropped to a new record low of 3.4% in September. The department's preliminary employment situation report shows that Pennsylvania's unemployment rate was down one-tenth of a percentage point over the month to 3.4%, a record going back to January 1976.
