White House Press Release - Capitol Hill Praises President Trump's Leadership

Today, President Donald J. Trump announced that the Mexican government has agreed to deploy thousands of Mexican troops to the U.S./Mexico border and that the Canadian government has agreed to new commitments to stop the flow of deadly fentanyl and illegal aliens coming into our country — all as negotiations proceed to secure a final deal.

The breakthroughs were immediately praised across Capitol Hill and beyond:
