WASHINGTON, DC – Today, President Obama announced his intent to nominate the following individuals to key Administration posts:

•      Harry Korrell – Member, Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation

•      Victor Maddox – Member, Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation

Harry Korrell, Nominee for Member, Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation

Harry Korrell is a partner at Davis Wright Tremaine in Seattle, Washington. He has worked at Davis Wright Tremaine since 1996, where he focuses on employment, commercial and civil rights litigation. Previously, he worked as an associate at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld in Washington, D.C. He has been a Member of the Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation since his appointment in 2010. Mr. Korrell received a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Washington and a J.D. from the University of Chicago School of Law.

Victor Maddox, Nominee for Member, Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation

Victor Maddox is a founding partner at Fultz Maddox Hovious & Dickens PLC. Previously, Mr. Maddox was a partner at Frost Brown Todd from 1988 to 1995 and an associate from 1986 to 1987. From 1985 to 1986, he served as Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Mr. Maddox was a trial attorney for the Civil Division, Commercial Litigation Branch, at the U.S. Department of Justice from 1984 to 1985. From 1981 to 1984, Mr. Maddox was an associate at Frost Brown Todd. He has been a Member of the Board of Directors of the Legal Services Corporation since his appointment in 2010. Mr. Maddox received a B.B.A. from Ohio University and a J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law.
