I am happy, at this festival season of Rosh Hashanah, to renew my good wishes to my fellow citizens of Jewish faith throughout the land.
It is a suitable opportunity to pause and, by dedicating ourselves anew to the responsibilities of the present day, to continue the work which, in common with all Americans, we have undertaken toward realizing the promise of the years which lie before us.
