Executive Order 11317—Amending Paragraph 127c of the Manual for Courts-Martial, United States, 1951
By virtue of the authority vested in me by Article 56 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (10 U.S.C. 856), and as President of the United States, the Table of Maximum Punishments contained in paragraph 127c of the Manual for Coutts-Martial, United States, 1951 (prescribed by Executive Order No. 10214 of February 8, 1951, as amended), is hereby amended so that the offenses and punishments for violations of Article 113 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice shall be as follows:

In areas designated as authorizing entitlement to special pay for duty subject to hostile fire. | Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement at hard labor not to exceed ten years. | |
In all other places | Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement at hard labor not to exceed one year. |
