Securities Investor Protection Corporation Nomination of Brenton H. Rupple To Be a Director.

The President today announced that he will nominate Brenton H. Rupple, of Milwaukee, Wis., for reappointment as a Director of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation.

Rupple is chairman and chief executive officer of Robert W. Baird & Co., a Milwaukee securities firm. He has been a member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation since 1978.

Rupple, 55, has been with Baird & Co. and its predecessor company since 1948. He is a member of the Securities Industry Association and served on its executive committee from 1975 to 1978.
