Press Release - President Bush to Nominate Cobb to be Ambassador of the United States to Jamaica

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate Sue Cobb to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Jamaica.

"Sue Cobb's leadership, public service and business experience will make her an outstanding Ambassador to Jamaica. I am pleased that she has agreed to serve," said President Bush.

Cobb is the Managing Director and General Counsel of Cobb Partners, Ltd., a private investment firm located in Coral Gables, Florida, and she was previously the founding director of the Public Finance Department of the Greenburg Traurig Law Firm. She has received numerous honors including the Red Cross' Humanitarian of the Year Award and is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Miami School of Law.
