Press Release - President Bush to Nominate Quander to be Director of the District of Columbia Offender Supervision, Defender and Court Services Agency

President George W. Bush today announced his intention to nominate Paul A. Quander to be Director of the District of Columbia Offender Supervision, Defender and Court Services Agency for a term of six years. Quander has served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia since 1994, and from 1989 to 1994, he was Deputy Director of the District of Columbia Department of Corrections. From 1982 to 1989, Quander served with the Office of Corporation Counsel in the Juvenile Section, the Civil Division and then in the Correctional Litigation Section. He is a graduate of Virginia State University and Howard University School of Law.
