President Bush will welcome Prime Minister Ariel Sharon of Israel to Washington on April 14, 2004 to discuss developments in the Middle East and key bilateral issues. The President looks forward to reviewing bilateral issues and the situation in the region with Prime Minister Sharon, including the war on terror and the search for Israeli-Palestinian peace.
As announced today, the President will also be meeting next month with President Hosny Mubarak of Egypt and King Abdullah of Jordan in a series of consultations that the President will be holding with key Middle East leaders.
