The President and King Abdullah spoke this morning about efforts to get Israeli-Palestinian negotiations underway and Special Envoy Mitchell's latest trip to the region. They also discussed several areas of mutual interest. The President expressed his appreciation for Jordan’s staunch support for a two-state solution and comprehensive peace in the region, and told the King he considers Jordan to be an integral partner of the United States.
