Press Release - President Obama to Welcome NCAA Champion University of Connecticut Women's Basketball Team

WASHINGTON - On the afternoon of Monday, May 17th, President Obama will welcome the NCAA champion University of Connecticut women’s basketball team to the White House. The President will honor the Huskies for their second straight NCAA Championship and back-to-back undefeated seasons. Prior to visiting the White House, the Huskies will spend time with U.S. troops and their families at Walter Reed.
