Readout of the President's Phone Call with President Sebastian Pinera of Chile

On Thursday morning, the President spoke with President Sebastian Pinera of Chile. The President thanked President Pinera for his congratulatory message following his re-election to a second term in office. The Presidents discussed opportunities to strengthen the global economy through job creation and expanded trade, including by moving together expeditiously on the Trans-Pacific Partnership. The President reaffirmed the importance of the bilateral partnership between the United States and Chile and looks forward to continuing to work with President Piñera to enhance bilateral cooperation.
