Statement by the Press Secretary on H.R. 2892 and H.R. 3183

On Wednesday, October 28, 2009, the President signed into law:

H.R. 2892, the "Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2010," which provides FY 2010 appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security; and

H.R. 3183, the "Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2010," which provides FY 2010 appropriations for the Department of Energy, the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation, the Army Corps of Engineers, and other agencies.
