During President Trump and Vice President Pence's Administration, they have enacted pro-growth policies, which led to an unemployment rate of 2.8% in Iowa and 11,800 Iowa jobs, including 10,100 manufacturing jobs, since President Trump took office. In Des Moines, Iowa, Vice President Pence will deliver remarks on the importance of faith in America at Faith in Leadership: The Need for Revival. Later that evening, the Vice President will return to Washington, D.C.
