Executive Order 5070—Authorizing the Reinstatement of James W. Girard Without Regard to Civil Service Rules

Mr. James W. Girard may be reinstated as Logging Engineer, $3800 per annum, in the Forest Service, without regard to the time limit on eligibility for reinstatement fixed by the rules. In view of the high standing, peculiar fitness, and need of the service for a man of his qualifications, the Commission concurs in the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture that the reinstatement of Mr. Girard be authorized.
