Executive Order 6236—Authorizing the Appointment of Henry Roe Cloud

Henry Roe Cloud may be appointed without competitive civil-service examination Superintendent of the Haskell Institute, Lawrence, Kansas. This institution is an important nonreservation Indian school. Mr. Cloud is a Winnebago Indian. He has had long and varied experience in Indian education; he has been a field representative in the Indian Service; and he is eminently fitted for the superintendency.

This order is issued upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Interior.
