Executive Order 6750-A—Delegating Further Functions and Powers to the Administrator for Industrial Recovery

June 27, 1934

By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by title I of the National Industrial Recovery Act of June 16, 1933 (ch. 90, 48 Stat. 195), and in order to effectuate the purposes of said title, I hereby delegate to the Administrator for Industrial Recovery, in addition to the functions and powers heretofore delegated to him, the power to enter into agreements, pursuant to section 4(a) of said act, with persons engaged in a trade or industry in the Territory of Puerto Rico, the Territory of Hawaii, or the Territory of Alaska, if in his judgment such agreements will aid in effectuating the policy of said title with respect to transactions in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, and will be consistent with the requirements of clause (2) of subsection (a) of section 3 of said act.
