Executive Order 8462—Authorizing the Appointment of Wilford S. Alexander as District Supervisor in the Alcohol Tax Unit, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Without Regard to the Civil Service Rules
By virtue of the authority vested in me by paragraph Eighth of subdivision SECOND of section 2 of the Civil Service Act (22 Stat. 403, 404), it is hereby ordered that Wilford S. Alexander may be appointed as District Supervisor in the Alcohol Tax Unit of the Bureau of Internal Revenue without compliance with the requirements of the Civil Service Rules.
This order is recommended by the Secretary of the Treasury.
