Travel pool report #1 — motorcade

Good morning from Rehoboth Beach. Pool linked up with POTUS' motorcade at 9:17am by the residence, and we're rolling for an unknown destination

Travel pool report #2 — breakfast arrival

Motorcade pulled up to the restaurant "Egg," at 9:24am.

Pool stayed in the press van and did not have eyes on POTUS' entrance. Holding on a street nearby tktktk

Travel pool report #3 — departing Egg

POTUS, wearing a blue quarter zip, exited egg at 10:08am and hopped in the motorcade.

He did not stop to answer shouted questions, including one about his supporters' New Hampshire primary write in campaign.

Rolling back to the residence as of 10:10am

Travel pool report #4 — back at the house

Motorcade arrived back at the POTUS house at 10:15am. Pool did not have eyes on his entrance and is holding nearby

Travel pool report #5 — Gordons Pond liftoff

The motorcade arrived at Gordons Pond at 12:22pm. POTUS, now wearing a dark suit and overcoat, exited his vehicle and strode up the Marine One steps behind FLOTUS at 12:24pm.

M1 lifted off for Wilmington at 12:28pm.

Pool was staged far away to shout questions… handing off to supplemental pool in Wilmo.

Travel pool report #7 — GP arrival

M1 touched down just shy of 5:10pm at Gordons Pond.

POTUS and FLOTUS disembarked at 5:13pm and hopped directly into the motorcade.

Rolling for the residence as of 5:15pm

Travel pool #8 — back home

Motorcade arrived at the residence at 5:19pm, though pool did not see POTUS enter his home.

… called at 5:23pm. Have a great night, y'all

Supplemental pool report #1 - arrival at DANG

M1 landed at DANG at 1:14 pm. POTUS and FLOTUS descended at 1:17 pm. Pool was too far from POTUS to shout questions.

We are loaded into the vans and headed to an undisclosed location.

Supplemental pool report #2 - arrival at destination

We arrived at the destination at 1:34 pm. Pool did not have eyes on POTUS. The White House passes this along:

The President and the First Lady are paying their respects at the visitation for Theodore "Ted" Blunt, former Wilmington City Council president.

Supplemental pool report #3

POTUS and FLOTUS walked out of the Congo Legacy Center at 2:04 pm. POTUS did not respond to a shouted question about whether there was any progress on hostage negotiations. It was not clear whether he heard the question.

We are back in the vans and rolling. Unclear what our next destination is. Will provide more details when we have them.

Supplemental pool report #4

The White House just sent us greeters for POTUS's arrival at DANG earlier this afternoon. We are still rolling to our next undisclosed location.

Upon arrival at Delaware Air National Guard Base, the President and the First Lady were greeted by:

Supplemental pool report #5 - Wilmington residence

The motorcade dropped POTUS off at his home at 2:18 pm. Pool is holding at a Wegman's.

Supplemental pool report #6 - rolling to DANG

POTUS left his Wilmington residence at 4:18 pm. Pool did not have eyes on him. We are now rolling to DANG.

Unrelated, I apologize for misspelling Wegmans in my last report. Thanks to the astute observer who told me there is no apostrophe.

Supplemental pool report #7 - POTUS departure

POTUS arrived at DANG at 4:26 pm. FLOTUS boarded at 4:28 pm and POTUS followed one minute after at 4:29 pm. M1 lifted off at 4:34 pm.

That's all from me today. Handing back to the out-of-town pool.
