GREER, S.C. – Following a whirlwind 14-stop, three-day swing through New Hampshire, presidential candidate Nikki Haley returned to the Palmetto State to hold a 600-person, standing-room only rally in Greer, South Carolina.
WYFF's Aaron Baker: "We were at @NikkiHaley 's campaign rally in Greer tonight. Her team tells us 600 people attended the event. We will have the latest tonight on @wyffnews4 at 11!"
SCETV's Gavin Jackson: "About 500 folks are here in Greer to see Republican presidential candidate @NikkiHaley this evening. More chairs are being set up to accommodate the crowd."
The AP's Meg Kinnard: "I didn't pull a Kamala, and go there and come back," @NikkiHaley says, of her trip to the US-Mexico border. "I went 400 miles of that border." Haley is the only GOP candidates so far this cycle to visit the border, which she mentions often on the trail.
The AP's Meg Kinnard: "There are a couple hundred here so far in this event space, with more filing in. @NikkiHaley 's SC campaign rally kicks off at 7pm. After a swing through NH, Haley did a slew of local SC TV appearances this week. On Saturday, she gives a commencement speech at @RegentU"
The AP's Meg Kinnard: "In her typical stump, @NikkiHaley is reminding voters of her legislative record, incl a push for on-the-record voting, which she says many colleagues didn't like. 'You know I love music,' Haley says. "On that bill signing day I blasted ... 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot."
