In-Town Pool #1 - Gathering for departure

Pool and media are now moving to South Lawn for POTUS departure to Delaware.

In-town pool #2 - POTUS WH depature

President Biden exited the White House residence at 1:41 pm with staff. He was holding what appeared to be a notebook.

He did not stop to answer questions on abortion and other shouted questions. He boarded Marine One shortly after. M1 was wheels up at 1:46 pm.

In-town pool #3 - Traveling with POTUS

In-town pool #4 - Bad weather call

The White House has been informed the in-town pool of a bad weather call. The pool will motorcade to JBA for POTUS' arrival back from Wilmington. Pool reports upon gathering will be forthcoming.

In-town pool #5 - Heading to JBA

In-town pool has loaded into the vans and headed to JBA.

In-town pool #6 - Motorcade rolling

Your pooler was not able to clearly spot POTUS stepping off AF1 by time pool exited the van. Pool was too far away from AF1 to see much of anything.

Motorcade began rolling at 8:28 pm. We are now headed to the White House.

Out of town pool 1 — POTUS sked

Good afternoon all,

I'll be your print pooler for the president's quick trip to Wilmington, Del.

Out of town pool 2 — DANG arrival

Marine One touched down at 2:32pm. The president emerged shortly after, at 2:35pm. He did not stop to talk with the pool.

The pool also spotted senior advisers Mike Donilon, Anita Dunn and Bruce Reed.

Motorcade departed DANG at 2:39 pm. We have not yet been told where we're headed, but will pass along as soon as we get it.

Out of town pool 3 — Greeters

Out of town pool 4 — Arrival at high school

The motorcade arrived at Alexis I. du Pont High School ("Home of the Tigers") at 2:52pm. After holding in the van for a bit, pool was escorted inside to the school's auditorium where we are once again holding.

Pool did not lay eyes on the president, nor have we received an update on the agenda.

President Biden is participating in a campaign event.

Out of town pool 6 — Leaving the high school

Pool loaded back in the van and the motorcade was rolling at 6:20pm.

We did not get a glimpse of the president, and are still endeavoring to learn more about how he spent the past few hours at the high school.

Out of town pool 7 — Second stop

The motorcade peeled off toward POTUS' residence at 6:23 pm. The pool van has parked in a driveway in the neighborhood, and we are now holding.

We have not seen the president, nor gotten any detail yet on what he's up to.

Out of town pool 8 — Rolling to DANG

Pool rejoined the motorcade at 7:33pm and we are rolling to DANG.

Out of town pool 9 — DANG

Motorcade arrived at DANG at 7:42pm after an uneventful ride. Your pooler spotted one "LETS GO BRANDON" sign hanging from the side of a house along the highway. The president, in shirtsleeves and carrying his suit jacket, was already boarding AF1 as we arrived.

We will be wheels up momentarily.

Out of town pool 10 — Arrival

AF1, which was wheels up at 7:53 pm, landed at JBA at 8:17pm.

The president exited the plane at 8:26pm and went straight to his car, ignoring shouted questions from the pool, including ones about a ceasefire as well as what he did today.

The motorcade was rolling at 8:27pm, and we are handing off to the in-town pool. Special thanks to Geoff Earle and the rest of the pool for their timely assistance throughout the day.
