Executive Order 5332—Temporarily Changing the Order of Precedence of the Assistant Secretaries of War
April 22, 1930
Under the authority of sections 177 and 179 of the Revised Statutes, the Assistant Secretary of War appointed under the act of Congress approved July 2, 1926, is hereby authorized and directed, pending further orders, to perform the duties of Secretary of War during the illness or temporary absence from the seat of government of the Secretary of War.
