Vice Presidential Pool Reports of November 5, 2024

VP pool report #1- checking in

Hi all, I'll be your VP print pooler for election day.

Pool has gathered and is holding at the Naval Observatory.

We're not aware of any schedule updates or movements yet. Stay tuned!

VP pool report #2- rolling

Motorcade is rolling from the Observatory at 3:16pm, destination unknown.

VP pool report #3- passing along

On behalf of the Harris-Walz campaign

Vice President Harris did interviews on drive-time radio stations this morning. She called into Power 99 in Philadelphia, PA with Cappuchino, KDKA NewsRadio in Pittsburgh, PA with Larry Richert, The Big Tigger Morning Show with Jazzy McBee on V103 Atlanta, GA, and Foxy 107.2 with Karen Clark in Raleigh, NC.

She will do more radio call-ins later today.

VP pool report #4- DNC arrival

Motorcade arrived at the DNC headquarters at 3:27pm. We didn't see Harris walk in.

VP pool report #5- phone banking

Harris thanked volunteers working the DNC phone bank. She entered the room at 3:32pm with a box of Doritos.

"This is just the best, best, best and I thank you all very much."
She walked over to a phone and picked it up.
"I am well," she said. "Have you voted already? You did? Thank you!"
The room cheered.

Someone at the DNC shouted out "president!" And everyone cheered.

She made another call and asked the person if they voted.
"Thank you!" Harris responded. "What's your name...hi, it's Kamala Harris. Waiting for you to grow 10 years more." (Talking to a kid on the phone)
"It's so important, we have so much work to do."

Reporters asked, how are you feeling and she replied, "gotta talk to voters."

DNC chair Jamie Harrison stood towards the entrance to the room, watching on. When Harris was leaving, they hugged.

She walked out at 3:42pm.

VP pool report #6- rolling

The motorcade is rolling away from the DNC at 4:10pm.

VP pool report #7- back at residence

Motorcade arrived back at the Observatory at 4:20pm.

We did not see Harris enter the residence. Pool is holding.

We have a dinner lid until 9:45pm. Will check in later.

We're back-- VP pool has gathered at the Naval Observatory and we are holding.
