In-town pool report #9 — more details and a lid POTUS seemed moved by the show, taking the mic before Deputy Secretary Tanya Bradsher was scheduled to speak to praise the performers and add: "That's the most impressive thing I've ever seen." The show followed the last months of World War Two as documented by Ernest Hemingway, Lee Miller, Robert Capa and J.D. Salinger. Descendants of Hemingway and Salinger were in attendance and stood to be recognized toward the end of the show. The president stayed to speak to guests for a moment and the press was ushered out by about 8:45 PM. We have a lid for the night. |
