In-town pool report #1

Hello,

I am your in-town pooler today. The pool is gathering for President Trump’s trip to the Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C., for the first annual physical of his second term.

In-town pool report #2

The pool is holding at South Portico. It's raining heavily and a "bad weather" call was made. It will be a motorcade ride instead of Marine One flight for the President.

In-town pool report #3

The motorcade is rolling at 12:14 pm. The pool did not see the president enter the beast.

In-town pool report #4

The motorcade arrived at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at 12:44 pm. The 30-minute ride was uneventful- still raining heavily. One DOGE supporter with a blow -up dinosaur stood outside the hospital center with a sign saying: "President Trump: Stop the Jurassic- size NIH waste. $23 billion wasted on animal tests."

Hi,

The pool did not see the president getting out and is holding at Walter Reed.

Therefore, the pool was not present at Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt's briefing.

Just a status update. There has been no news from President Trump’s physical so far. The pool is holding in a conference room at Walter Reed.

The motorcade reached JBA at 5:29 pm.

The president got out of the beast and walked to Air Force One at 5:31 pm holding a large umbrella as it rained incessantly.

He did not stop to take questions.

Out of town report #1: JBA departure

Hello from a rain-soaked JBA. The president's motorcade rolled up to the tarmac near Air Force One at 5:30 p.m.

The president exited his vehicle and gave a fist pump to the press but did not come over to talk. Carrying an umbrella, he boarded Air Force One at 5:31 p.m., waving at the top of the steps. He was followed by aide Walt Nauta.

Air Force One is rolling at 5:38 p.m., and we should be wheels up for Palm Beach momentarily.

Out of town report #2: POTUS comments and Palm Beach arrival

Air Force One touched down at PBI at 7:38 p.m.

President Trump came back halfway through the flight to talk to reporters for about eight minutes. He spoke about his visit to Walter Reed, tariff negotiations, the case of a deported Maryland man, Iran, bond markets and the Masters.

On his visit to Walter Reed for his annual physical, the president said a report would be released by his doctor on Sunday. He said he underwent cardio and cognitive tests and he thought it went well.

"Overall I felt I was in very good shape. Good heart. A good soul. Very good soul. I took — I wanted to be a little different than Biden. I took a cognitive test. I don't know what to tell you other than I got every answer right."

Asked about the court order to return a Maryland man from El Salvador:
"If the Supreme Court said bring somebody back I would do that. I respect the Supreme Court...I have great respect for the Supreme Court."

On tariff negotiations, President Trump said his administration is talking to "a lot of countries."

"We're in a very good position."

On China specifically, he said he's always gotten along with President Xi.

"I think something positive is going to come out of it," Trump said of China.

Asked about the dollar:
"We're the currency of choice. We're always going to be…I think the dollar is tremendous."

On the bond market: "The bond market's going good. It had a little moment, but I solved that problem very quickly."

Asked to what extent the bond market contributed to his adjusted tariff stance, he suggested it didn't. What was it?
"I want to out the country in an unbelievable economic position. Which is where we should be."

On Iran talks this weekend:
"I want Iran to be a wonderful, great, happy country. But they can't have a nuclear weapon."

Asked who he thought would win the Masters golf tournament, the president said, "They're all friends of mine" and predicted a good finish. Coverage of the Masters played on TVs in the press cabin during the flight.

POTUS deplaned at 7:52 p.m. and got straight into his vehicle.

Out of town report #4 Mar a Lago arrival

Motorcade arrived at Mar a Lago at 8:03 p.m. after an uneventful drive on a pleasantly warm and dry evening here in Florida. Portions of the route were lined with supporters, some waving Trump flags and at least one waving an Israel flag.

Out of town report #5: Lid

The White House called a lid at 8:25 p.m.
